This website is a public repository established to share research products, methodology, and datasets generated through the HNA Blueprint project. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the reports, manuals, templates, and toolkits hosted here, all content is provided as is. The information, methodologies, and models may be subject to adjustment or refinement, and should be interpreted alongside professional judgment and local context.

Unless otherwise stated, the intellectual property rights for all text, PDF guidebooks, Word templates, datasets, and code packages generated for this project belong to Turner Drake & Partners Ltd., subject to the secondary data note below. The HNA Blueprint was created under the federal Knowledge and Research Initiative for the benefit of Canadians broadly. Therefore, we grant public permission to use this intellectual property under two open-source frameworks.

Hosted resources

Reports, guidebooks, templates, and other resources downloaded directly from this website or via our GitHub repository are free for anyone to access, redistribute, copy, use, or adapt for their own purposes, including commercial use. These permissions are granted under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Technical code

Code packages to support automated report generation are hosted externally on a public GitHub repository. These are released under the MIT License, which permits unrestricted commercial use, modification, and distribution, provided the original copyright and permission notice are included.

Note on secondary data

The HNA Blueprint relies on MS Excel datasets that contain formatted compilations of secondary data originally sourced from third parties, as noted within each file. While Turner Drake licenses our specific curation, formatting, and structural arrangement of these toolkits under CC BY 4.0, the underlying raw data remains subject to the original open-licensing terms of those respective bodies.

In no event shall the project authors, project partner firms, collaborating subcontractors, or funding contributors including the Government of Canada and Government of Prince Edward Island be held liable for any damages or losses arising out of the use, interpretation, or inability to use the resources provided, or linked to, by this website.

We provide links to external environments, including GitHub, for the convenience of end users. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the availability, uptime, or technical execution of these external platforms.

We reserve the right to revise these terms or update the project files at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the site after changes are posted, you accept the modified terms.
